Top 5 Cross-Faction Episodes

Captain's Blog Stardate 92098.46

Time to get back to my "top 5" lists. This week, the top 5 multi-faction episodes! These are all story related episodes that each faction can play. I'm not include the missions in the PvE queue (that's for another blog). Warning, there are spoilers below!

5) What Lies Beneath - I love how creepy this episode is. Bonnie kin bonnie kin dressed in red! Bonnie kin bonnie kin soon you'll be dead! It sends shivers up and down my spine and I applaud Cryptic for putting this together. Frankly, I would love at least one more episode that is just as creepy as this one!

4) Temporal Ambassador - The first episode to have time travel and alternate realities all together. I know Tasha Yar was a bit annoying but overall it was a great episode. You are in an alternate reality, you have to fight the Tholians, and you take the Enterprise C! Just being able to see the Enterprise C up close is pretty cool.

3) Sphere of Influence - Worf is back! Remember that gateway you found on New Romulus? Well now you are forced to go through! You and your allies have to fight your way back home. You end up opening a whole bunch of gateways and stealing a ship (how dare you). I know I had a lot of fun with it.

2) Cutting the Cord - How can you not love this mission? After doing your best to stop the Tal Shiar you are finally in this Romulan city that has explosions, and battles, and ending with the final death of the most evil Tal Shiar agent and the destruction of an Iconian gateway.

1) Boldly they Rode - The first episode to have EV suits and let us walk on the hull of Deep Space 9. It finally ends with a massive battle against the Dominion outside of the station, bringing back memories of the Dominion War. That alone makes this mission amazing!

In the comments let me know your thoughts on this list and which episodes you would have put on here.

I agree that the above mentioned Episodes are very good, but my personal favorite for the time being is "Surface Tension".
When I first played this Episode with my KDF-allied Romulan, it brought Tears to my Eyes, when I saw the battered Earth Space Dock. To this day, I'm not sure if those were Tears of Joy or Tears of Sadness.
Anyway, the Battles in Earth Orbit and on ESD were awesome. And then surprise! This was all a diversion. Haul ass to Qo'noS! EPIC!

I must agree with TacPaddy 100%. I'm sure I have a favorite mission other than Surface Tension, but that one is in the front of my mind.
