Charge of the Light Brigade
Captain's Blog Stardate 89799.3
The end has finally come. Boldly They Rode was released on Saturday and was the perfect ending to this series. For those of you who don't know, the title of this mission comes from the poem that O'Brien and Bashir recited when they retook DS9 in the episode Sacrifice of Angels.
Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell, Rode the six hundred.
- The Charge of the Light Brigade
A fitting poem for that episode and this mission. I recommend reading the whole thing. The title of the poem is Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
On to the mission! The whole EV suit, walking on the hull of DS9, the thrusters... all of it was greatly implemented. I really enjoyed that part of the mission and I didn't find it boring at all. Then infiltrating DS9 through the promenade was interesting. I'll admit, this was your typical "run and kill things" objective but it worked fine. I like the two optional objectives which got rid of some Jem'Hadar.
I also like the objective to "find useful items". If you don't know, compeleting this will make your battle with Kar'ukan a little easier. I won't say anymore because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. The final space battle at the end was very fitting to retake DS9.
The arrival of the Enterprise was great but personally I didn't find it amazing. I guess since I had already seen the new Enterprise and had it for so long, this wasn't anything new. I will say that I think Cryptic made a mistake releasing the Enterprise before this episode. If they waited, then the arrival of the Enterprise would have had more of an impact.
Overall the mission was really good. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. What are your thoughts?

My biggest question is what happened to The E/Data?

I think it is on a long term mission far far away so Starfleet decided to commission a new flagship.

Actually, it is PWE's fault for forcing Cryptic to release the Odyssey Class early. Cryptic was originally going to release it during the Boldly They Rode as a special item; just like the Shard of Possibilities.
@RTK142: Captain Data and the Enterprise E went missing in 2408 at the same time the Borg have came back. It was presumed that Data and the E was either destroyed and/or assimilated. However (spoiler alert!!!) the E WILL be making an appearance during the next Feature Episode. When and which ep, I'm not sure.

First, to thanks Attilio for the reviews and walkthroughs; I really enjoy them.
Obviously this series was supposed to be released some time ago, (maybe last fall?) when the Enterprise contest was had generated some excitement about the new ship. And my guess is that the version of the Odyssey class we got for the 2nd anniversary event was going to be the limited-time reward, after the first time we saw the new ship in action was this episode.
Overall I enjoyed the series, and especially this episode. For some reason Im really excited we get to keep the EVA suit, even though I know itll get less use then my fleet of shuttles and runabouts.

I really enjoyed the optional objectives as well. It was cool to be able to think outside the box. Sure, I can attack those guys, but what if I turned off the force-field instead?
While I ran into some annoying bugs with the 1st episode of the story, I was very impressed over all and look forward to future FEs.
