Galaxy and Storage
Captain's Blog Stardate 91771.94
Was anyone else as happy as me when they increased our bank and inventory slots? I logged in, checked my bank, and felt like I could breathe again. There was so much space! Good decision by Cryptic to increase everyone's storage. At least they realized that they keep giving us all these awesome items and we need to store them somewhere!
So what does everyone think about these updates to the Galaxy ships? Most seem to be coming to the Dreadnought. New BOFF seating, a hangar bay, saucer separation, and more. Let's not forget the new set bonus that comes from the Antimatter Spread console and Saucer Separation console. Not only that, but the Dreadnought is going to get a Fleet version as well (which I'm thrilled for).
Overall I think it's time the Galaxy ships get an update. It's nice to see Cryptic going back and taking an interest in the older content in order to bring it on par with current content. In my opinion, that's the best way to keep a game going strong and keep players interested. I guarantee we'll start seeing more Galaxy ships flying around and less of the Dyson ships.
In the comments let me know your thoughts on the increased bank storage and the Galaxy updates.

I am thinking of getting the pack, But since I am a Tac and saving up to buy the Avenger instead I am torn between being a fanatic collecting my favorite starships or going with a better tactical position

I would have to say that this is the dilemma that I have face to. The Dreadnought has been a sentimental favourite since I started playing a few years ago but its TAC BOFFs seating wasn't that good.
WRT the increase in Bank Storage, a very good move by Cryptic :)

To be honest, the increase in Bank and Inventory storage was way overdue. When I read the Dev Blog I was like "Oh Boy, oh boy, oh boy"! When I logged in and realised 24 new Bank Slots and 24 new Inventory Slots on my main Toon, I was so excited. Now they just need to fix the Bank window, so it keeps its size.
The upcoming changes on the Galaxy are just sweet. People have waiting a long time for it and adding a Hangar Bay on the Galaxy Dradnaught is a very nice way to address the imbalance created by the Dreadnaught Warbirds. I'm very looking forward to see the U.S.S. Scientia scrambling Fighters my way. :)

Bank slots - Thank god! Seya, my crafting toon, was beginning to buckle under the weight of all the data samples/traces! Apparently there's a patch on Tribble now that fixes the bank window sizing. So I'm sure this will be rolled to holodeck on Thursday.
Good move on Cryptics behalf.
The changes to the dreadnought are long overdue although I think they could have done a better re-equip on the Boff seating. I'd guess they way they have done it will cause the least disruption to existing pilots.
Thursday will see the USS Lindesfarne-A relaunching as a fleet version :) The revamp combined with the new loadout feature will make it fun to experiment with :)
Shes no longer a storage hulk!

I was really excited when I learned about the increases in inventory and bank sizes. I have three F2P toons who were constantly short of storage space and now they have a reasonable amount without having to spend Zen to buy additional slots. Even my Gold account toons benefit because I can now run farming missions without having to recycle items in mid- mission.
The fact that it was done at no cost to the players is a great move by Cryptic. I suspect that the small amount they lost by giving away something that they normally sell will be made up for by people spending more Zen on other things. It's a win-win for everybody.

I always like to know who I can tell in regards of forming another Romulan mission that takes place between the Coliseum and Cutting the Cord, and call it Rendezvous. In this mission, the 1st officer from the Duty Officer will lead the investigation of finding the Reman ship and transferring the main character off the ship. In the beginning, there should be a cut scene which they notice the main character is gone and the 1st officer takes command of the mission of finding the Reman ship, and finding out that the reman ship knows the where the main character was transported too. Once, the shop reaches the planet, there should be a cut scene thesis character is transported to the ship, and in the bridge, which the 1st officer tells the crew to warp out of here. Once, the mission is complete, it will lead into Cutting the Cord.
