I've only been playing a few months and think the episode replays are great. I wish the pimp cane was more useful but it is still pretty awesome.

I opened 10 lock boxes and got a bunch of crap and one holonovel. I think they should re-do lockboxes to have something worth at least 100 c-points in each box. Then people wouldn't be so upset.

i know nothing about the kdf carrier, but what i do know about the catian, is that its HUGE! its also very slow with its turn rate, only lauunches 6 fighters at a time, cant send out anymore than 6. id have to add a lot of consoles to add speed and shields since they are as good as any other. when i faught with it, i felt like a dead fish in the water, couldnt evern turn around fast enough, the enemy was flying circles around me. i wasnt happy. also, dont bother using a mask energy signature on it, only works for so long till the shear size is enough to break its cover.

I'm rather mixed about the Caitian Carrier. On one hand I thoroughly enjoy the thought of having a carrier on the federation side. On the other hand I think there is some serious work to be done on the carrier commands and carrier gameplay. I've test driven the Kar'Fi carrier on the KDF side, and I thought that the commands were awkward at best. Sadly I am not alone in my observations either. I do object to the carrier not being available to test on Tribble. I also feel that it has too few weapons slots to make it an effective weapon system. While comparable to other science vessels, it's abysmal turn rate and lumbering speed give the carrier captain a distinct disadvantage.

I may not have predicted the lobi crystal situation precisely, but I think I still predicted it well enough. I said that the crystals would be rare, and that the amounts obtained from replaying the episodes would not be enough to warrant the scavenger hunt. Grand total is 20 crystals, which won't go very far at all in the lobi crystal store. Why bother? I don't.

I can't get enthused about the current set of replay missions or about the Lobi Crystals. The only reward form the Davidian missions that I still use is the Subspace Field Modulator that comes from "Skirmish." twenty Lobi Crystrals isn't enough to even buy you a cup of coffee, let alone any useful items. From one of the forums, I learned that at least one player spent 75 Euros on lockboxes and keys to get Lobi Crystals and still only had half what it took to buy anything other than the Miser's Handbook in the Lobi Crystal store. Since there are very few ways to get Lobi Crystals and no way to get them in useful quantities (other than spending hundreds of dollars in the C-Store), I will simply be ignoring them.

I haven't tried the new Fed Carrier. I like the principle of having similar ships available to both the Feds and KDF, and the Carrier's stats sound good. Hopefully, they won't do what they did with the Dreadnaught and load it up with Mark viii equipment that has to be replaced as soon as you buy it. My main problem with it is that I have way too many ships as it is. I've spent the last couple of weeks weeding out the ships that I never fly and either using the equipment from them to upgrade my other ships or selling it for ECs.

BE AVERY CAPABLE AN A AVERY DANGEROUS SHIP.IF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO PROPERLY ARM IT.IT'S TURNING RATE CAN BE HARD TO GET USE TO BUT YOU CAN MAKE UP FOR IT BY CHANGING YOUR SPEED DURING COMBAT.I LOVE MY FED CARRIER.I HAVE TO AGREE WITH EVERY BODY,THE LOX BOXES ARE NOT WORTH THE 100 C POINTS TO GET IT.THEY NEED TO PUT IN THEM EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE USE TO IMPROVE YOUR SHIPS CAPABILITIES.I HOPE THEY FIX THE LOCK BOXES.

I am new to STO (only been playing for less than a month - didnt realise that there's actually a Star Trek MMO until my 11 yr old son saw it on you tube...but i've always been a trekkie)
Anyways, as i am very excited, i immediately levelled my toon to 50...enjoyed flying my ships and then bought the Caitian carrier. Evrything is good with the carrier except for the turn rate - its just terrible! I keep missing the action as its slow in turning - After a few days i got sick of it - so went back to my Star cruiser. :(

One of the main reasons Ive enjoyed playing my KDF science officer was because of the carrier. As soon as they announced that the Federation was getting a new carrier my mind was made up that Feyd would have it. I cant complain in any form what so ever cus Im very much used to the turn rate and such due to Kirin.

Lobi crystals - I could care less about them. 20 is not going to net you anything of worth so not even bothering with re-running other than to get the odds that I missed out on.
