Looking to Season 8.5
Captain's Blog Stardate 91637.89
Season 8 is well underway and soon Season 8.5 will be coming. A few updates to make Season 8 even better. This week we're supposed to be getting dev blogs which detail the updates. I took a look at the recent patch notes for the Tribble test server and there are some interesting things coming.
For starters we'll be getting a PvP small craft map which sounds pretty cool. I've done PvP with small ships in the past and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to this map and blowing up some shuttles!
Something else, which sounds amazing, is quick equip. Simply click on an equipment slot and a list of items you own that can be equipped there will show up. Choose the item and it gets equipped. No need to open your inventory then drag and drop the item. The best part is that this won't only list items in your inventory but also items in your bank and on other ships.
There are also some Federation episodes being revamped which sound pretty cool. Although for some reason they are removing the "War is Good for Business". I haven't found out why, yet, but I find it really odd. I think this is the first time Cryptic is removing a story mission.

Nothing special, just some generic equipment.

I just played "War is Good..." mission. Maybe it was removed because it's long, annoying, and not related to the Klingon front. The last half of it, finding the explosives, is pretty good, but the first half of getting the science team to scan the asteroids and you can only go 1/4 speed is so terrible slow.
I only replayed it cause I was helping my friend get through some story missions.

I do agree that beginning part is pretty annoying, but they could just revamp it. Unless they are planning some sort of Ferengi story and will bring back a revamped version of this mission with that story. I'm only taking a wild guess though.

I like the small ship PvP as it's more about flying and tactics than who has the most powerups/best gear. So that should be fun.
