More STO Celebrations Please

Currently there are three huge events in Star Trek Online which are the game's anniversary in February, the Summer event, and the Winter event. This got me thinking, perhaps there should be other events and celebrations throughout the year. They may not need to be as big as the current ones, but perhaps week long events, or a special mission that only occurs that time of year.
Star Trek is filled with so many different races, each with their own unique culture. Some of which, like the Bajoans, have their own holidays. Would you visit Bajor for the Gratitude Festival? Would you go to Earth Spacedock or Starfleet Academy to celebrate First Contact Day? Would you go to Qo'noS or the Klingon Academy to celebrate the Day of Honor? Besides those and other canon celebrations, Cryptic could come up with more.
The Romulan Republic could have Freedom Day, or their on Independence Day. The Ferengi could have Acquisition Day. But enough about what could be celebrated, what exactly would you do at this events? Of course it would depend on what the holiday is. For example, during the Day of Honor you could enter the holodeck to reenact a glorious battle.
I think all this is great, but my big question is would you enjoy more events even if they are small? Would the type of rewards affect your participation or would you just participate out of enjoyment even if there were little or no rewards?
Also, what kind of holidays would you want to celebrate and what events would you want to see there? Personally, I would like to see something on Bajor. I feel like that planet has such a great environment and it is underused. A yearly week long festival would be great! Even if the rewards were just experience and may costume pieces.

I do enjoy First Contact Day, so yes, I would enjoy the small Events. Now that we are in the year 2410 and everyone is one big happy family, I would like to be able to intended the next First Contact Day across all factions on the same Character.
Your idea of a Ferengi Acquisition Day is ingenious, btw. Haggle away for free Lobi. How awesome would that be?

I think a new holiday to celebrate the new truce could make for a great cross faction holiday! Alpha Quadrant Armistice Day, maybe...

I would love to see some more events too. Maybe some space exploration milestones like launch of Sputnik, Gagarin's flight and Apollo 11 landing.

The Romulans do have Republic Day to coincide with First Contact Day and Day of Honor. Though to be honest I think those holidays should get expanded beyond "tour and fly the flagship" missions. Maybe make them full fledged mini holiday events where there's alot more going on at the main hubs that shows off the culture of each of the big three. Also why isn't Federation Day the major UFP holiday? STO does have their own date for it at SF Academy.
As far as additional holidays, the Gratitude Festival would be an awesome choice. Hathon is such a great location that gets seldom used beyond the Dominion mission and the Undine PVE. Maybe this could be the holiday event for the spring? Love the idea of Acquisition Day. Expanding off TacDaddy's suggestion maybe Lobis as a reward for Doff missions? It would be nice to have holiday events for all four seasons.
Since it's the 5th Anniversary is coming up are they going to more for the event this year?

I think they should put in "Great Bird of the Galaxy" Day in honor of Gene Roddenberry. Without him there would be not Star Trek and no Star Trek Online. Put a statue of him at the Academy at least...
