It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Well that was fun to write. I could probably keep going too! THE WINTER EVENT IS BACK WOOOOOHOOOO!!!! I love this time of year. I can spend 10 minutes on the winter map and see tons of my fellow fleet members running around. I can go ice skating, fight snowmen, race, and now protect gingerbread men then fight a yeti on the side! I love how much effort Cryptic puts in this. It's just a great feeling.

Once again I must thank Cryptic for the great updates to the winter zone. I played through the gingerbread invasion map with some fleet members and it was cool. I don't know why they all sounded like Gingy from Shrek, or why the abominable snowman from Rudolph was in it, but hey this is Q's wonderland and who am I to question the almighty Q? Last time I did he turned me into a sehlat cub, a Horta, a Devidian, a Undine... yeah I questioned him a lot.

The new snow weapons are so much fun. My favorite has to be the double pistols. I feel so awesome sliding on the ice holding out 2 guns and shooting the Snowman Overlord. Although the snowblower is pretty great too. That thing is massive but can take out nearly an entire group of snowmen. I also go the mortar which you just place down and it shoots snowballs at enemies.

The new gingerbread pets are really cool. I got a Vulcan one for my main toon who is a Vulcan. I also found a lump of coal which turns me into a snowman. It's fun running around like that, but not as much fun as ice skating.

So I could probably write all day long about everything I love in this updated winter wonderland, but the fact of the matter is that I love it all. There isn't one thing I hate (aside from the bugs upon release). What I really want to know is what's your favorite part about this event? Maybe this is your first time participating or maybe you're an old timer like me. Whoever you are just let me know!

I about choked on my lunch laughing at that one the first time I saw it.

The dialog from the vendors is amusing for a few minutes, but then you start wanting a sock full of second-hand targ fur to stuff in their gobs to shut them up. Still, a snicker and off to throw snowballs at whoever is in reach.

I'm letting K'leela be the primary vic- uh party-goer this year. Zane is chasing the ship, but that's all.
