New Ships for STO
Captain's Blog Stardate 90584.71
It's the holiday weekend so I'll be keeping this post short. There was a few tweets by CaptainGeko a.k.a. Al Rivera this past week about ships coming to STO in the new year. Supposedly there are 9 ships planned on being released before March. Some of them are said to be fleet versions of existing ships. Others include an Andorian ship (which we knew about), the Ambassador, 2 lock box ships (hints point to these ships coming from new bad guys being added), a klingon ship as well as a klingon version of the type-8 shuttle.
He also said that they have plans to release a second Andorian ship, a second Vulcan ship, a Tellarite ship, a Xindi ship (which Xindi was not said) and possibly a Hirogen ship. All these are planned for throughout the year and not before March. So we'll be seeing tons more ships coming our way. Personally, I'm hoping for a Vulcan escort for my main character.

The lock box ships will undoubtedly be a Mirror Patrol Escort and a Mirror Advanced Escort

As a KDF player, I would love to see new ships, any type, as we are so far behind.
Fed side has multiple's, of every class! Just wish the Klingon side had the same sort of choice.

I wish there was a small class of ships to raid freighters in packs. I just learned of the Ferengi's ship so a raider is my 2nd wish. Maybe a black market could be established and a system for the dark side? What rule is that again?

we need a Constellation class. i mean all they have to do is put it as a skin of the tier3 4 nacelle cruisers

As the Enterprise is mainly the flagship of the federation why not an ( Enterprise ) class of ship with two large saucers attached to a smaller saucer which is part of the engineering section?

I would love to see some new skins for existing ships.
As well as some new Bridge styles than what is there now.

Do we really need more Starfleet ships? No
We need older ships retrofitted like D'Kyr and that caitian carrier etc..
Need also more vulkan and maby a tellarite ship.
