One Year and The Vault
Captain's Blog Stardate 88707.76
Well its been an interesting week to say the least. On Wednesday we celebrated the one year anniversary of Star Trek Online and it was a blast. I spent hours on the server using the party popper I got from Q, dancing at Club 47, and having an overall good time. I even made some recordings of it and plan on sharing them after the event is over this coming Wednesday. On to newer matters, The Vault was released on Saturday. It is the first episode in the 3rd series, Cloaked Intentions. In this mission we get to pilot a shuttle through a Romulan base known as The Vault. Roughly two hours after the mission was released the entire server crashed. I don't know how many of you were there for that, but I must admit I was a bit amused. About an hour later Cryptic brought the servers back up and everyone was able to play normally. The mission was very well done and I enjoyed flying my runabout/shuttle through the base. I am glad to know that the developers are finally looking into making shuttlecraft more useful. Speaking of which, the Delta Flyer was released on the C-Store. Missions to craft it will be released in roughly 2 - 5 weeks. A few questions for my valued readers this week. How did you enjoy the 1 year anniversary party? What did you think of The Vault? Want to know what I think? No offence, but I think your blogs are kind of short in general o.o I'd like to see more of your own thoughts and impressions, to be honest, otherwise isn't it more of an extended "twitter-like" post rather than a "blog"? As for "The Vault" & the 1-year anniversary, I've made a few posts on them in my own blog as I'm opinionated and talk too much :P

The anniversary party is fun- I love being turned into a Hrta or a spider. Tired of disappearing gift items in the fountain.
The new mission is exciting and the graphics in The Vault are phenominal. The electronic barriers were easy to get thru if my Delta Flyer had no dmg going in- I had major dmg running out and that seemed to hurt more.
