My Enemy, the Romulans
Captain's Blog Stardate 88650.21
It has been officially announced, the Romulans will be the enemy of the next featured series starting January 29th. Unfortunately there isn't much information about the series aside from the first mission. I believe that there is a conflict within the Romulan empire between those who want to destroy the Federation and those who want to join it. I also think that there will be some Borg technology being used by the Romulans since they have been known to experiment with it. In any case, what are your thoughts about the series? Honestly, I think it's going to be more of the Romulans having their strings pulled by the Iconians, but we'll all know soon enough.

I think they might be looking to do some of the Diane Duane "Rihannsu" book series in the game...

are her books any good?
And aren't the Romulans almost extinct?
I mean the Klignon lost a moon and were force to sign a treaty with the federation or die, and the Vulcans in the new movie are almost extinct after loosing their home world.
How do the Romulans manage to have an empire after loosing their entire solar system???

Primeval Atom, they had colonies throughout the quadrant just like the Federation does, so there are still a lot of Romulans left.
Although I do agree they probably aren't at their former strength, but that is why they allied with the Hirogen and why they are experimenting with Borg tech.

I'm hopeful. After the gorgeous missions and storylines of the last sets, I'm certain Cryptic has another winner in store for this Romulan plot. ^_^

They are new missions! O: Just with an old adversary.

That's correct. These are new, they are just continuing the plot from the original Romulan missions.
I guarantee you'll like them. Cryptic hasn't disappointed us so far and I doubt they will with the new series.
