The Vault and Season 6
Captain's Blog Stardate 89914.21
What did everyone think about the Vault Shuttle Event? I played it a few times since it was released and its definitely fun. I was suprised to play it once with a random group and actually fail it. The mission seems pretty straight forward and simple enough. The one thing I don't like is that you need to collect those Romulan data chips (or whatever they are) in order to do the DOff missions which give you the Reman ship set. Other than that, its a nice new event that they added.
A part of the whole event that was interesting was how Obisek gave orders to the team. I wouldn't mind a future episode or STF where an NPC directs the team towards a goal. It has more of a trek feel to it. Perhaps something where the Enterprise is leading a team into battle and coordinates the ships like Obisek was doing. Its only a dream, but maybe it'll become reality!
On a similar topic, I have to commend Cryptic for a moment. They said that they would start releasing new content every week, and so far they have kept their word. So a big thank you should go out to the entire STO team!
I also want to briefly talk about Season 6. There isn't a whole lot of information about it, but from what I have gathered, fleets are a big part of it. It seems like we'll be getting fleet starbases as well as updates to the entire fleet system. As the leader of the STO Academy fleet, I am extremely excited about this and I can't wait! It will most likely be released in June (though possibly July depending on bugs).

Well to me the new event is really hard I tried it with a good team two times and we failed it. It is really hard to me (and we had team speak.)

Ran through the event with an STO Academy Fleet player was an enjoyable 20min or so, cheers to Cryptic for this release, however there could be a chance of getting more than one data chip at a time.

Only criticism is that the places where you remodulate the power aren't marked very well.

i have a question about the main story. I think its pretty unfinished. Well at least i feel that way when i play the last mission on undine advance campaing. It feels like the story wont end until the main enemy in the dark has been defeted --> Iconian.
So i think there will be 1 long iconian episode or 2 mid term episode.
But when did those release? Any ideal about that?

The story will probably never be finished. This is an MMO which is not like a typical game where you play through a story and its over.
We'll probably eventually see another featured series that has to do with the Iconians at some point but there are no plans yet.
