Viva Star Trek Vegas
Captain's Blog Stardate 91139.83
Viva Las Vegas! In this case, Star Trek Las Vegas! This week we got word that the Star Trek Online crew will be out in full force for the Star Trek convention, and yours truly will be there to check it out! I'll be relaxing and enjoying the sites and sounds of Star Trek and Las Vegas for five days and I'm so excited!
I'm flying there on Wednesday and leaving Sunday night so if anyone wants to meet up just let me know! I'll be there primarily to promote my YouTube show called the CoreScoop which, for those that don't know yet, is a sci-fi news show. I've been doing it for a few weeks now and it has been steadily growing. Check it out at youtube.com/user/CoreScoop
For those of you who can't make it, don't worry I've got you covered. Each day I'll be recording everything that is going on and uploading it to the CoreScoop channel so make sure you subscribe! It'll be an entire video journal of my trip.
We'll eventually be getting more details from the STO developers on what they are doing so hopefully I get to meet them and chat for a bit. Within the next couple of weeks I'll be uploading a video to the STO Academy and CoreScoop YouTube channels in order to invite everyone who is going to come find me and say hi. All the details on what I'm planning will be in there. So stay tuned and may the force.... uhhh live long and prosper ;)

I'll be flying in on Friday and flying out on Sunday, so I only have a ticket for the Saturday events. I plan to spend pretty much all day Saturday at the Convention. My hotel is within walking distance of the Rio Suites, so I could swing by on Friday evening or Sunday morning if the fleet is doing anything either of those times.
Our local silk screen shop threw up their hands when I showed them a picture of the Jupiter Uniform shirt and asked if they could make one, so I'll be wearing a plain color one as close to Spock's TOS uniform as I can manage.

haha You'll probably need to get a tailor to recreate that uniform completely from scratch.
I got the pass for the convention all 4 days so I'll be there a lot. We'll figure it out as we get closer. I look forward to meeting you!
