The newest mission of The 2800 series was released this week. Of Bajor was a very interesting mission, but not one of the best. To start, I have to say that the map for Bajor is really good. It looks amazing and makes for a nice social hub. I've been waiting to see the surface of Bajor for a long time and I'm glad it’s finally here.

Now, on to the actual mission. What I liked about it was all the various options to do different things. When you had to get missions from people there were two different kinds you could do, which makes the overall experience a bit different each time. It was a good second part to the series and did seem like an actual Star Trek episode.

With that being said, I did find the mission kind of boring. Normally I can replay a featured episode a few times and still enjoy it. This mission felt too long and too tedious. Cryptic has the right idea with giving us different objectives to create different experiences and I hope they keep this up in the future.

I agree with you completely. The actual mini-missions weren't bad, but it seemed like you spent most of your time going from point A to point B so that Commander X could tell you to go back to point A to find out that you really needed to go to point C. Why not just let you go straight to point C in the first place?

For a player like me, with lots of Alts, it took all week end to work my people through the mission. If I could have just done the actual missions instead of spending over half the time walking back and forth, I could have been done in two or three hours and had the rest of the week end to do other things.

Live long and prosper,
