warp coil - A part of the warp core which take the plasma generate by the core and use it to create a subspace displacement field.

warp core - A device that can be equipped on ships which determines the maximum warp speed of the ship and provides boosts to certain power systems.

warp core breach - A break in the warp core which could lead to its destruction

warp drive - A device that allows faster than light speeds.

warp field - The means by which a warp drive propels a starship at faster-than-light speed. Generated by field coils, usually found in nacelles, the field surrounds the ship, causing the space around the ship to distort.

warp field generator - A component of the warp drive on starships which generates a warp field.

warp plasma - A super-energized plasma used to transfer energy from a central power source.

warp speed - A speed at which ships travel that is faster then the speed of light.

water - A colorless liquid usually found in seas, lakes, rivers, oceans, and rain.

weapon - An item used for defense or offense

weapon power - Energy used to increase the strength of weapons.

weary - Feeling tired

web - A number of things connected together to form a network

well done - Praise of approval or commendation.

widrab - A new species introduced in Star Trek Online. They are not considered canon.

Wolf 359 - The location of a huge battle between Starfleet and the Borg. Many Starfleet vessels and personnel were lost.

Worf - The first Klingon to serve as a Starfleet Officer. He served on the U.S.S. Enterprise, Deep Space 9, and U.S.S. Defiant.

Worm hole - A relatively short connection between two locations which are normally far apart.

wormhole - A spacial anomaly which can be called a "tunnel" that connects two points in space-time.
